Having a format is the easiest way to get started with resume because you see what needs to be put where. You can make do with a standard resume template because it should have the sections you need to write down all your information. Unlike other resumes, you do not need to list down educational attainments and seminars if you do not want to.
You will also want to make sure you have all the necessary details written on your resume such as your name and your contact details but you might want to leave out your address and the like. They do not need to know where you live and they most certainly do not need to know your birthday.
When it comes to using fonts, choose ones that are easy to read so that the person in charge of hiring does not have any trouble deciphering the contents of your resume. This is especially true if you are submitting your resume online because some operating systems may not be able to read your chosen fancy font.
Aside from your personal information you will also need to write an objective statement. It may only be two sentences long but this is where a lot of people get stumped. A lot of people also get their objective statements wrong. As a custodian, you will want to make it clear that your objective is to make sure the areas assigned to you are spic and span and that you are a hard-worker. So how do you let them know that in two sentences?
